Instead, Mary turns the villagers' livestock into fish, saying they can now become fishermen.Brother Eye, angry that it has been disturbed, seals Karate Kid and the others in its chamber, firing a beam at Karate Kid.On Earth 8, the Extremists attempt to gain information from the Challengers and are interrupted by the Monitor who inadvertently allows the Challengers to escape. The Monitor reveals that he has killed the Jokester's daughter but they are interrupted again, this time by the arrival of Monarch. The Monitor fires at the Challengers, killing the Jokester, before they escape. The Monitor then disappears, leaving the Extremists and Monarch.The Challengers, meanwhile, had merely transported themselves to a nearby balcony where they can hear Monarch offer the Extremists the chance to join him in his war against the Monitors.
