The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue Review by Vardhan Manoj Rode (Latur)
The book follows a bisexual character Henry Montague a young man from Aristocratic Family living in the Victorian Era, who is no less than an embrassment for his Family, goes on a Grand Tour of Europe to learn, how to be a Gentleman and to make his Father less embrass of him. He travels alongwith his Black (but belonging to high class) best friend Percy alongwith his Sister.
.
.
But will the Grand tour go as planned or will Monty (Henry Montague) spoil it as he does always...
.
.
."Oh, I think we’re well off track now. We’ve had an adventure novel instead of a Tour.”
.
. This is a line from the book which clearly and accurately describes the book... Why? You will learn as you read it.

Pro's -
✡The Characters of Percy and Felecity (Monty's Sister) are very well written..
✡ The Humor scenes are great.
✡The friendship between Percy and Monty as well as Percy and Felecity are brilliantly written.
✡ The Relation between brother and sister is realistic but soo true and lovely.
Con's-
✡As it is a story inspired from Great Tours which nobels took during the Victorian age, I wanted to see more of tourist places being explored (which is limited to just one para sometimes in the book.
✡The Scenes to add thrill and mystery atmre not at all realistic as anything which can go wrong goes wrong.
.
.
Apart from it all the novel was Abso-bloody-lutely Fantastic...!!

.My Ratings ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
